ERSICT > For Authors
Authors should submit their manuscripts to ersict@fikt.edu.mk
For any further questions or explanations please contact editors in chief.
Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously,
that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by
all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out,
and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language,
including electronically without the written consent of the copyright-holder.
(Please notice that manuscripts must differ from previous published versions in conferences by at least 40 %)
All authors are requested to disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest including any financial, personal or other relationships with other people or organizations that could inappropriately influence, or be perceived to influence, their work.
Authors should submit a minimum of two files (Title page file and Article file). The manuscript should contain the following elements:
The authors’ names and addresses must not appear in the body of the manuscript, to preserve anonymity. Manuscripts containing author details of any kind will be returned for correction.
Figures and tables may be uploaded either embedded in the main article file or as separate files. Figures and tables should always be cited in text. All figures and table should have caption (title).
Abbreviations should be defined at first mention and used consistently thereafter.
Acknowledgments of people, grants, funds, etc. should be placed in a separate section in the article. The names of funding organizations should be written in full.
Citation – Reference citations in the text should be identified by numbers in square brackets.
Reference list – The list of references should only include works that are cited in the text and that have been published or
accepted for publication. Personal communications and unpublished works should only be mentioned in the text.
Do not use footnotes or endnotes as a substitute for a reference list. The entries in the list should be numbered consecutively.
The authors should use the following tools for preparing their manuscripts:
Microsoft Word Template: The document template provides predefined style formats for all the types
of content that are part of an article. It can be used with Word 2003 and higher. (ZIP, 87 kB)
LaTex macro package: The LaTex2e macro package supports various journal layouts. (zip, 279 kB)
ERSICT invites scholars and ICT practitioners to submit special issues proposals. The purpose of the special issue is to provide collection of articles on a specific topic of ICT applications in various fields, that the journal has not covered and could be of high interest. Proposals for special issues with short description and expected number of submissions should be sent by email to ersict@fikt.edu.mk.
